Grand Quran describes Celestial Objects

{a} Sun, Moon, their Orbits

{b} Stars

{b} Sky of the Earth, our Solar System.

"Allah is the Cleaver of the Daybreak. And Has appointed the night for rest/stillness. And appointed the Sun and Moon for reckoning {computation, calculation, measuring, visualization}. These are the equations/settings of relations/relativity by the One Who has absolute Dominance/Control/Command and Absolute Knowledge" {Refer 6:96}

"The Sun and the Moon are with equation/calculation/measure" {Refer 55:05}

           The Sun and Moon both have been declared "حُسْبَاناً"as a means of , reckoning, computation, calculation, measuring and visualizing and foreseeing the future scenario. And then another fact is told that this has been made possible because both the Sun and Moon are "بِحُسْبَانٍ" in accordance with a calculated and equated measure. The point has been made distinct:

"He is the One Who has given the Sun characteristic of radiating heat and light; and to the Moon of reflecting light. And He appointed the stages/spaces of the Moon so that you people may know the count/number of {Lunar} years and calculations, equations. And Allah has not created this except for a determined purpose and as proven fact. He distinctly explains the statements of the Book so that people may learn/know" {Refer 10:05}

"And the Moon; We have appointed the stages/spaces of the Moon until it returns to the position/space resembling in appearance like an old dry palm branch" {Refer 36:39}

"And by the Moon, when he has has become full/complete" {Refer 84:18}

We have made the Night and the Day as two symbols/signs. And for that {reckoning} We have obscured the Night and the symbol/reckoning/knowledge of the Day is brightness/vision so that you people may engage in the pursuit of sustenance/livelihood from your Sustainer Lord; and so that with these two symbols you people may reckon/know the count/number of the {solar} years and other calculations, equations, assessments. And every bit of knowledge/information/thing We have demarcated/segregated quite distinctly" {Refer 17:12}

The places which the Moon traverses while moving have been measured in such a manner that people may know the number/counting of the year and could make other calculations, equations, assessments. And this has been created for a purpose and in the manner of proven fact in time and space. Here the lunar mode/system of determining the year and other calculations is described. And the other mode/symbols of calculating/measuring time are the day and night which are related to the Sun; measure of time based on appearance of the Sun at daybreak. A day is the time required for one rotation of the Earth on its axis. Grand Quran has not used the term/measure of time as "week" since it is not based on a natural phenomenon. The "week" was derived from Judeo-Christian tradition requiring rest from labor every seventh day. The reason causing the alteration of the Night and the Day has been explained:

ORBITS

"And for you people We have subjected the Sun and the Moon submissive as the two who persistently/without break/halting follow their course/circle/orbit. And so, for you people, We have subjected the Night and the Day" {Refer 14:33}

"And He is the One Who has created the Night and the Day and the Sun and the Moon. All float/swim in a curved/girl's breast shaped course" {Refer 21:33}

"And the Sun flows for a place of stationing/destination of stability/stay for her. These are the equations/settings of relations/relativity by the One Who has absolute Dominance/Control/Command and Absolute Knowledge" {Refer 36:38}

"It is not befitting for the Sun that she should follow {the path, footsteps} of the Moon, and nor the Night is the one who could take lead/be ahead of the Day. And all float/swim in a curved/girl's breast shaped course" {Refer 36:40}

It has been made clear that the Sun does not {since it is not befitting for her} follow the path/footsteps of the Moon {gender masculine-masculine should get attracted and revolve around feminine. This is the reflection of splendor, grace and attraction of a feminine}. They have their own independent space/path/course/orbit to swim/traverse while persistently journeying. And that they move in a space like a swimmer upon the surface of water. فى is ظرف مكان denoting/signifying a specific place/space/path which has been called " فَلَكٍ ". It is said of a girl's breast, when on maturing/developing it became rounded; {geometry experts may like to look into the similarity of an orbit with the shape of a girl's developed breast}; whirl of a spindle; anything circular; the cap of the knee {patella}; Celestial sphere. And these " فَلَكٍ " in which celestial objects move are curved:

"And by the Sky, the possessor of curve/spiral tracks/orbits" {Refer 51:07}

              It may not be presumed from the above information that the Sun and Moon will keep orbiting for ever since it has conspicuously been stated that every thing has been created for a predetermined purpose and we know that when any thing is created by will and design for a purpose its ending/extinction is determined before hand, even before making the thing physically exist.

"Allah has not created the skies and the Earth and what is between between both two except for a purpose and with a determined/known period of time" {Refer 30:08}

"We have not created the skies and the Earth and what is between between both two except for a purpose and with a determined/known period of time" {Refer 46:03}

{Refer 39:05}

{Refer 13:02}

"And He has subjected {subjugated to a set discipline} the Sun and the Moon to submissiveness. All keep flowing for a term/duration of appointed/named/fixed date and time" {Refer 35:13}

"And He has subjected {subjugated to a set discipline} the Sun and the Moon to submissiveness. All keep flowing towards the appointed/named/fixed date and time of Term" {Refer 31.29}

It has been made clear that every particle and object is created "" and for .              The word is composed of particle "ب" that denotes adhesion, means "with; by" and is derived from the Root "ح  ق  ق". It signifies "Reality, fact, authentic, genuine, substantial or real, established, proven or confirmed. lasting thing, meaningful". And it reflects anything with a purpose. Grand Quran keeps explaining and making each and every word and statement distinctly evident so that there does not remain a remote possibility of perceiving/conceiving differently or arousing an iota of suspicion/confusion. The creation of everything is with a purpose as clarified:

"And We have not created the Sky and the Earth nor what is in between the two like the doers of purposeless/playful things" {Refer21:16}

Here only the Sky and the Earth are mentioned and the things between these two. But the Sky was expanded into seven layers one above the other. And between each two layers of sky {gaseous} other things {like Sun and Moon} have also been created. It has been clarified:

"And We have not created the skies and the Earth nor what is in between the two like the doers of purposeless/playful things" {Refer 44:38}

has been defined as something which is not done by the , which  is active participial, plural, masculine. Its Root is "ل  ع  ب"; play, sport, game, jest, non serious act, joke, toy, dally, purposeless activity. It has further been clarified that the creation was not a purposeless activity:

"Had it Our pursuit/desire to adopt a pastime play, We could have adopted it from Our presence if We were to act in that pursuit" {Refer 21:17}

           The creation of every particle and object and the relativity/relationship amongst all them was , with a purpose and as a concrete reality and not just scum and froth.

"And We have not made the Sky and the Earth and what is in between the two of them purposelessly,  vainly. Such is the conjecture/unproved theorem of those who refused {in time and space the revealed Book}" {Refer 38:27}

The destination of the pursuit of knowledge is to know the purpose behind the creation of a thing. A thing is created for a purpose in mind, it is a matter and knowledge of simple common sense.  And when we find and conclude that a thing is created with a purpose behind it we find and realize about a creator behind that thing since purpose is related only to a person. The purpose invariably introduces us to the creator of the thing. The presence of a specific relationship and relativity amongst various things further confirms and makes evident the pre-existence of a purpose in the creation of individual things and the fact that there is only One Originator behind all the creation since every thing has a relation to another thing. It is only "تفكر" that could make one realize it.

            But the people who analyze and interpret the information and knowledge not merely to know the visible and relationships/relativity but reflect to know and understand the purpose of things eventually find and say and become the "Wise men" in the true sense of the word wisdom:

"And they contemplate in the creation of the skies and the Earth. "Our Sustainer Lord! You have not created this purposelessly/meaninglessly" {Refer 3:191}

Grand Quran has informed that every particle and object of the Universe has been created for a specific purpose and the equations have been set to be adhered to for approaching , a point in time which is determined/known by specific date and time. When a date and time has been fixed for any occasion/ceremony, every passing second makes it nearer/ever approaching. This is the definition, meaning and nature of appointed time. After appointing the point in time in the future we start the countdown; we start rewinding the clock. This is what is meant by :Root:ك  و  ر  Winding round the turban; to wound the thing in a round form; wrapped up. The countdown, winding makes the appointed point in time quite imminent; we are nearing to listen Bing Bang:

"The ever approaching {Promised day/point in time} has become imminent" {Refer 53:57}

           The creation with a purpose denotes and enfolds the stability and permanence for the appointed period and is subject to security and care:

"And We have made the Sky a well guarded/safe canopy. And yet those people turn away seeing the signs in the Sky" {Refer 21:32}

"And He holds the Sky from falling on the Earth; {it cannot fall} except with His permission"  {Refer 22:65}

"And this is one of His Signs that the Sky and the Earth maintain by His Command" {Refer 30:25}

"Certainly Allah holds {sustains/grasp} the skies and the Earth so that both should not cease/deviate/move away/quit their place/get afflicted {by law of entropy}.

And if both were to deviate/quit the place/afflicted, after Allah there is none who could uphold them. Certainly He is Most Forbearing; Oft-Forgiving" {Refer 35:41}

             If we do not divert our attention from the simple signs and facts all around us we cannot escape the conclusion that every thing is created with a specific purpose and a specified time frame and that our own creation cannot be considered as purposeless restricted to a time frame. But there are people who take everything just as a routine phenomenon that had occurred and is continuing under certain physical laws.

"Did you guess/think/imagine that We had created you in jest/purposelessly and that you people would not be brought back to Us?" {Refer 23:115}

"Does man guess/presume that he is to be left to wander aimlessly?

Was he not a Sperm pushed in the seminal fluid which is ejected {into receptacle}. Thereafter lapse of time he was made resembling a leech-like clot hung, then created and then proportioned/perfected. And from that Sperm made two sexes, male and female. {do you think} Is He, who created you in this manner,  not able to revive the dead? {Refer 75:36-40}

More information about the Sun and the Moon

             Ibrahim عليه السلام who has been called Allah's friend and declared as the Father of Muslims was the person who had been shown the working and the system of the operating of the universe.

"And for that We showed to Ibrahim the system of governance of the skies and the Earth so that he be amongst those of sure/certain knowledge" {Refer 6:75}

       Ibrahim عليه السلام while arguing with a king had told him that his Sustainer Lord is the One who gives life and death. The king immediately responded and boasted "I also give life and death". His perception of giving life to someone was restricted to not hanging or killing a person. It is futile in extending the argument by explaining the niceties and intricacies of a perception to a boastful person suffering from erroneous understanding of greatness. It is wise to argue with him with simple and visible facts commensurate with his fattened intellect.

 "Ibrahim عليه السلام said, "Okay, Certainly Allah makes the Sun rise from East therefore you should make him rise from West. This made him speechless/answerless who had refused to accept" {Refer 2:258}

         In view of the argument advanced by such a person, who had been shown the system of governance of the skies and the Earth and for that reason he had a sure and certain knowledge, there is no substance in any such story which state that in the ending span of time the Sun will rise from West. These are all hearsay and conjecture. And moreover it has unambiguously been stated that both the Sun and Moon will keep orbiting till the appointed time in the same manner without any deviation.

"He is the One Who has given the Sun characteristic of radiating heat and light; and to the Moon of reflecting light" {Refer 10:05}

:Root: ض و أ : In Lexicon we find the meanings as "Light of the fire; Some say and are synonymous and some say signifies that light which subsists by itself, as that of the sun and fire; and to that which subsists by some other thing as does the light of the moon. But it is evident from the Grand Quran that is used only for the complete spectrum of radiation from the fire that includes heat and visible light. And is exclusively used for the visible light and  مُّنِيراً is the one object that reflects the visible light.

"Their example is like the one who kindled fire and when it lighted his surroundings,

Allah took away their visible light and left them in the dark nesses in which they have no vision" {Refer 2:17}

Kindling of fire brought for the surroundings but vision and darkness is related to "نُور", the visible light. It has been elaborated:

"The lightning almost obscures/makes indistinct their vision. Whenever it brightens for them they walk therein and when darkness spreads upon them they stand still" {Refer 2:20}

  brightens the surroundings and it excites the atoms generating activity.  originated by the kindling of fire but what made the surroundings evident/visible to the vision is "نُور" which generates and helps man in movement and activity/action. Thus contains heat and نُور, the visible light. is the result of kindling of fire. Fire produces radiation comprising heat and visible light. shall mean visible light/glow only when it is the result of fire.

"whose oil almost glow though it has not yet been touched by fire" {Refer 24:35}

            By explaining that "fire has not yet touched it" it has been made explicitly clear that though is that thing and light which by the kindling of fire makes the surroundings visible/evident but it is the نُور, visible light which causes the surroundings to lighten creating visibility/vision. This clarifies that is composed of two things, one نُور, visible light, vision, and the other fire i.e. heat, other radiation.

       produces نُور, the visible light which enables/excites/activates the faculty of vision and its antonym has been called { أَظْلَمَ} ,darkness. When visible light is taken away people are left in the layers of darkness where the faculty of vision/focusing gets extinct/blurred.

"And He has made the layers of darkness and the visible light" {Refer 6:01}

is plural and is singular. These are exact antonym of each other. Darkness has layers of varying intensity/density but one ray of visible light breaks the darkness.

"And the blind and the man of vision are not alike; nor the layers of darkness and visible light are alike; and nor the shade/shadow and the sunlight's heat are alike" {Refer 35:19-21}

A blind man cannot see the visible light, therefore he is not like the one who can see the visible light. But a blind could be a man of vision and wisdom and another one who can see the visible light could yet be a man lacking vision and wisdom. Therefore in both, physical/ etymological and metaphorical meanings of "blind" and "vision" both can never be alike/ synonymous. Quran narrates only a statement of proven fact.

It is evident that shade/shadow has relationship with electromagnetic radiation but it is not synonym/synonymous to layers of darkness though it has to a certain extent resemblance to a layer of darkness since there is comparatively lesser brightness/visibility. But shade/shadow is not the antonym of visible light and man of vision. A blind man cannot make a distinction in the visible light and darkness but can conveniently differentiate between shade/shadow and sunlight. And this is for the reason that sunlight comprises of visible light and heat {other electromagnetic radiation}. Heat has always been described as something which is not visible but is felt and tasted only by touch.

has conspicuously been defined as visible light which helps people to move/act/find the path.

"Can a person who was given life earlier being a dead matter and made for him visible light because of/with which he walks amongst the people is like that person who is in darkness and cannot get out of that?. Thus living in layers of darkness seems pleasing/attractive/comfortable for what they do/conduct/act/living style" {Refer 6:122}

The people living in the layers of darkness consider that darkness as shade, a source of comfort, cooling and soothing. These people are not blind of eyesight but their heart have become blind. For them darkness and shade/shadow become synonymous while in fact they are not synonyms.

"And He will {in hereafter} provide for you visible light with which you shall walk" {Refer 57:28}

       Grand Quran has been termed and called as "" and "". Quran was revealed and sent gradually and progressively and not as one time written Book on papers. On revelation it was written and compiled by the Last Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم. But Torah was sent as a Book written on slabs and has thus been called as which contained guidance and "نُور".

"Certainly We sent the Torah, in that was guidance and light showing the path" {Refer 5:44}

"And in the past We gave Musa and Haroon {عليهم السلام} the Criterion, i.e. a light for activity and remembrance/lesson for those who wish/intend to live a guarded life" {Refer 21:48}

               Torah has been called to have contained "نُور" which shows the path to people to walk on. It has also been called . Why it has been called which is a combination of heat and visible light?

"And We had written {and ordained} for him in the Slabs on all matters of advice/guidance and everything mentioned distinctly" {Refer 7:145}

"And he placed down the Slabs" {Refer 7:150}

"And when the anger was appeased from Musa {عليه السلام} he picked up the Slabs and in the overwriting/inscription of those Slabs was guidance and blessing for those people who remain cautious for the fear of their Sustainer Lord" {Refer 7:154}

         The Torah was sent overwritten/inscribed on Slabs which were picked up and brought while lifted in his hand by Musa عليه السلام. Slabs absorb radiation and then also emit radiation. It is not proper to translate the word "" as "Tablet" since it includes the perception of sheets of paper fastened together while the Arabic word has no relationship with the paper by any stretch of imagination.

           We were trying to know the precise meanings of the word which has been attributed to the Sun. It has further been clarified:

"Permanence is for The One Who has made in the sky of earth towers/structures {Asteroids} and made in it a Sun Prominent and a Reflecting Moon" {Refer 25:61}

"And made/appointed a Moon in all of them as {reflector of} visible light and made the Sun as Shining, Prominent, grandeur, grace, beauty, attraction "   {Refer 71:16}

       The characteristic, prominent feature of Sun is , composite of heat radiation and light and then a relationship between "shadow/shade" and Sun has been explained:

"He is the One Who has given the Sun characteristic of radiating heat and light; and to the Moon feature/nature of reflecting light" {Refer 10:05}

"And Allah has made for you people shadows of what He had created" {Refer 16:81}

means shadow of a thing. Quran has described the shadow as a reality, a thing distinct:

"Have you not considered how your Sustainer Lord has stretched/lengthened the shadow and if He had willed He could make the shadow remain still.

Thereafter We have made the Sun a pointer/indicator upon that shadow" {Refer 25:45}

Root: د  ل  ل :The main perception infolded and primary signification is: A wife expressing amorous gesture feigning coyness or opposition, enabling husband to adduce an indication, draw an inference or deduction. To infer from a thing another thing. To adduce, regard or take a thing as an indication, an evidence or proof of another thing or an argument in favor of another thing. A thing by which one is directed or guided; an indicator. A sign set up for the knowledge of a thing indicated as smoke is called indication of fire. Anything whereby a thing indicated is known whether relating to an object of sense or law, decisive or indecisive.

"And the blind and the man of vision are not alike; nor the layers of darkness and visible light are alike; and nor the shade/shadow and the sunlight's heat are alike" {Refer 35:19-21}

The Sun has indicated two things, visible light and other radiation. In the shade/shadow the visible light is present but other radiation i.e. sunlight's heat is not there. It is thus manifestly evident that emanating from the Sun is composed of visible light and other radiation, heat rays which are hurled by the flames of fire. The shade/shadow has the characteristic of coolness and comfort since the rays of heat hurled from the flames of fire do not reach there. But if the radiation/rays of heat reach a shaded place it will no more be cool and comfortable. The Hell is that type of a prison:

"And We have made Hell as a Prison/Jail/Dungeon for those who refuse to accept" {Refer 17:08}

"And in the Black chamber of prison which is neither cool nor refreshing" {Refer 56:43-44}

"Move you people towards covered place/shelter/chamber of prison having three dimensions/columns/parts, it affords no shade nor gives relief from the heat" {Refer 77:30-31}

Certainly it throws/hurls shortened in length sparks/flashes as if that spark/flash was like herd of camels of bright yellow hue {or like yellow strands/filaments of a rope}" {Refer 77:32-33}

The experts on electromagnetic radiation may find the precision in the metaphorical explanation of radiation other than visible light in the words employed in these verses. Grand Quran is for everyone in time and space. The lesson and perception intended to be conveyed to the man in the seventh century and 21st century is manifestly evident both for people of ordinary prudence who could understand and perceive the message from the etymological/evident/visible meanings of the words employed and the men of knowledge in physical sciences who perceive the invisible things through metaphors. The thing which is causing the atmosphere of the chamber of prison to be hot and uncomfortable is flashes/sparks/rays of shortened length and seem yellow hue.

"And made the Prominent Sun as candescent/diffusing, fiercely burning" {Refer 78:13}

وَهَّاجاً :Fiercely burning; burning from a distance; the diffusion of the odor of perfume and the hot or strong odor thereof. A candescent lamp diffusing and fiercely burning at a distance.

             This is the information about the Sun, Moon and the shade/shadow and their distinct features/characteristics,  which ware narrated and made public by a resident of valley of Mecca located in a desert about 1400 years back, the Last Messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم. And he did not claim that what he stated was his own knowledge or research. Could an electromagnetic radiation expert/scientist elaborate the aforementioned Ayat of Quran and could anyone opine that the disclosure of such information could be the understanding/perception/knowledge of a desert man of 7th century? Despite that would someone be considered a man of rational attitude if

"Do they say, "He {sincere servant upon whom the Book has been sent} has drafted/compiled/fabricated/forged it from his own perception/knowledge/understanding?

No, their perception is wrong; the reality is that this Book is the statement of proven/evident fact from your Sustainer Lord with the objective that you may warn a nation whom a Warner was not sent before you, so that they may get guidance" {Refer 32:03}
