And a limited number/some of the women in the city talked amongst themselves, "[look at] The wife of Aziz, she seeks to delude/seduce her servant from his self.
Indeed that pericardium piercing ambition/desire of nearness/love has impassioned her. o Indeed we find her certainly in a state of manifest forgetfulness/mindlessness". [12:30]
For reason/in consequence when she heard about their bickering she sent invitation to them
and prepared for them cushioned seating/repast-food requiring leaning to cut it with knife, and she gave to each one of them individually a knife.
And she asked him, "you come before them [while they are busy cutting food]"
In compliance thereof he came, when they saw him they exalted him and they scratched their hands o and they said, "Absolute exaltation is for Allah. This is not a man, instead this is but a superb angel" [12:31] [Only a minor scratching of hands does not detract attention from some thing more absorbing; and their statement beginning with recalling Allah loudly tells absence of sexual excitement in the reaction of those respectable ladies]
[puffed with pride and achievement of demonstrating that her impudicity was not without cause, in excitement and poetic mood], She said, "Then that is the one/phenomenon about which you all objurgated me [saying his attraction has pierced into my heart];
and yes I had indeed vehemently desired to delude/seduce him from his self, in response he remained firm to his resolve [and ran away to the exit door]. o And if this time he does not act what I will command him, he will certainly be imprisoned and he will certainly be of those who degrade". [12:32]
He prayed, "My Sustainer Lord! imprisonment is more suited/dear to me as compared to what they are inviting/inciting me towards o and if You do not avert their ill design away from me, it is intended at compelling me to incline towards them and to make me included in those who are carried away and act by emotions. [12:33]
Having heard his prayer His Sustainer Lord responded for him, consequently He averted from him their ill design. [Same pronouncement in same words in

Verse
26:220]o Indeed He is the eternally All-Hearing, the All-Knowing. [12:34]
Afterwards it became apparent/understood for them after the evidential signs they had observed/ seen, they decided that they must take him into protective custody/imprison him for a while. [12:35]
[He was accordingly sent to prison] And along with him two young men entered in the prison.
One of those two said, "Indeed I see myself in the dream that I am extracting wine/alcoholics"
And the second one said, "Indeed I see myself in the dream that I am carrying over my head bread out of which are eating the birds"
You tell us the outcome/eventuality of this dream. [Same pronouncement in same words in
12:78]o We observe you from amongst proportionately balanced generous men" [12:36]
He replied, "The food/meal which is served to both two of you will not reach to reach you but I would have told/construed you both the effect/end result/meanings of that dream before the meal may come to both of you.
This construing is with the knowledge my Sustainer Lord has imparted to me.
I have left the company of people of nation [and opted to be jailed] who do not believe in Allah

It is not befitting for us that we associate with Allah anything,

O you my companions of the prison, reflect "Are diverse lords of conflicting nature better to have or Allah, the only One Absolute Dominant over all. [12:39]

O you my companions of the prison, one of you for reason [having released/exonerated] will serve his Master wine/alcoholic drinks,
and the other for reason [on being convicted/awarded capital punishment] will be crucified [and die] resultantly the birds will eat from his head.
o The matter has been decreed about which you both inquire". [12:41]
And he said for [to] the one of two of them about whom he construed/thought that he will be saved, "You mention about me before your Master/Lord" o Then/after release the Shaitan made him forget to mention to his Master/Lord resulting/thereby he remained in the prison for several years. [12:42]
