Particle [مصدرية] Gerundival. It renders the following perfect or imperfect verb into the interpreted gerund meaning. It is a Particle. Verb-Like Particle. It is one of the six Particles called الحروف المشبهة بالفعل since in some features they resemble with verbs. They are sentential modifiers. What was earlier known as subject in a nominal sentence, because of its presence at the outset, that will now be called "-Noun of ", which is rendered in accusative case; and the predicate will be called خبر which will be in nominative case.

:الصفة المشبهة [Resembling participle on the measure of فَعِيْلٌ]; It is a noun derived from Verbal noun/gerund which indicates on the Root meaning as being an attribute; and this attribute is usually perpetual or intrinsic, as is this noun ascribed exclusively to Allah. Such nouns can occupy any grammatical positioning in a sentence; it can be used both as an adjective and a noun.

 

 

 

 

 

 

May be it is near that lightening blurs/obscures their vision. Whenever lightening caused illuminating flash for them they walked therein, and when it caused darkening effect upon them they stopped stand still. However, if it was the will of Allah, the Exalted He could have taken away their faculty of hearing and visions.
